16 <br />Board of Selectmen <br />Minutes <br />December 18, 2017 <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Approval of Appointment to the Environmental Oversight Committee, Thomas Hoppensteadt, School <br />Department Designee: <br />Communication was received from. Patricia DeBoer dated December 8, 2017 in response to the Board <br />of Selectmen's request to appoint a designee selected by the School Committee to serve on the EOC. It <br />was advised that Thomas Hoppensteadt, a teacher at the Mashpee Middle/High School has agreed to <br />serve as the School Department designee to the Environmental Oversight Committee. <br />Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to appoint Thomas Hoppensteadt to the Environmental <br />Oversight Committee as the School Department designee. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman Sherman, yes <br />Selectman Cahalane, yes Selectman Gottlieb, yes Opposed, none <br />_Approval of Appointment to the Environmental Oversi ht Committee, Ashley Fisher, Shellf sh <br />Commission Designee: <br />After receiving a request from the Board of Selectmen to join the Environmental Oversight Committee, <br />Ashley K. Fisher, Shellfish and Water Quality Monitoring Technician to the Department of Natural <br />Resources have offered to serve the EOC as a Member -at -Large. <br />Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to appoint Ashley K. Fisher to the Environmental Oversight <br />Committee as a Member -at -Large. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman O'Hara, yes Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman Sherman, yes <br />Selectman Cahalane, yes Selectman Gottlieb, yes Opposed, none <br />
