The Director reported on the homelessness and is working with Mashpee Housing on a <br />lot of the situations. She said the Regional Board just did My Choice Matters and they <br />had 300 parents attending. <br />Director's Report <br />The Director noted she changed the format of her report. She reported <br />at the next substance abuse meeting in January they will have the Police Chief from <br />Bridgewater attending. He will be doing a power point presentation. <br />The Director stated a parent from PTO who attended the parent forum asked to meet with <br />her and wanted to discuss how they can educate kids at a young age. There was a <br />discussion on the many programs already in existence at the school that the PTO isn't <br />always aware of, GREAT and Girls on the Run are established programs. <br />The Director reported she was asked by the Girls and Boys Club to work on their toy <br />drive this year and it has gone very well and was very well organized. Each candidate <br />was required to fill out a form and was eligible for 3 gifts per child. Frank Fantasia <br />reported at the food bank they serviced 101 families on Wednesday and have 2000 toys <br />to give out on Friday <br />Motion: Frank Fantasia move to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Veronica <br />Warden.
