Budget to Actual Report: Mrs. Botsford presented the budget to actual report, prepared by the fee <br /> accountant, and reviewed it with the board, explaining the variances. The report covered all 12 months <br /> f fiscal year 2012. Mrs. Botsford reported that we ended the year in really good shape, with more <br /> income than expected and under spending in both administrative and maintenance totals. She <br /> complimented Mr. Gault on working carefully on keeping within budget and also indicated that <br /> administrative staff had worked very hard to keep costs down and stay within budget. <br /> Mrs. Botsford stated that the Budget Guidelines for Fiscal Year 2013 are still being worked on. She is on <br /> the sub-committee with DHCD to negotiate them and the next meeting is next geek. Hopefully were will <br /> have guidelines soon and then the FY 2013 budget can be done. When Tera Joy comes in to present <br /> that, he will do a review of FY 2012 as well. <br /> Accounts Payables: Mrs. Botsford presented the warrants for signature. The warrants for signature <br /> tonight are for the months of June and July 2012 and total as follows: FOR JUNE: $50,163-10 for 4001, <br /> $6,484.00 for Section B, $16,681.00 for MRVP, and $64,463.603 for Asher's Path Apartments. FOR JULY: <br /> $36,874.02 for 4001, $6,517.00 for Section B, $15,372.00 for MMP, $25,338.88 for Asher"s Path <br /> Apartments and $5,023.46 for the Housing Assistance Program. <br /> Rent Delinquencies: Mrs. Botsford reported that we have all residents paid in full at Ashr's Path. we <br /> have one residents who hasn't paid at Herneyer Village. This is the same tenant we have issued an <br /> eviction notice to. we have one resident who hasn't paid at Breezy Acres A Notice to Quit has been <br /> served on both. we also currently have 100% Ceased at Breezy Acres and Asher"s Path. we have two <br /> apartments at Horeyer Village that are now vacant and should be occupied within the next 10-1 days. <br /> motion was made by Mr. Harsch and seconded by Mr. Shackett to accept the Treasurer's <br /> Report as presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> EXECUTIVE D IRE T WS REPORT: <br /> Mrs. Botsford mailed members her written reports for June and July and added the following report: <br /> The"deg problems""at Asher"s Path are unfortunately continuing. We received a complaint again <br /> from the neighbor association abutting the property. The complaint this time was that residents <br /> are throwing their bagged dog feces on their properties. There have also been a few more <br /> occasions of dog feces being found in the hallways at Asher's Path. I've issued another strong <br /> warning to dog owners and I arra hoping things improve. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> B reezy Acres Ex ansion Great Cove Comrnuni U date: Mrs, Botsford reviewed Ms. Danner's report with <br /> the board and gave the following update: <br /> 9 DRI monies have been committed by the Selectmen so that thea is no gap in funding. <br /> • The public bid is going smoothly for the NYHA portion of the sewer line hookup. Bid opening is <br /> next Monday. <br /> • Mrs. Botsford spode with Andy darks at the Water Department and they cannot waive the <br /> inspection fees because the work is contracted out and that cost is passed on to us. He did say <br /> that he always overestimates the cost and it usually actually comes back lower than he estimates. <br /> He said that if for some reason the cost goes over the estimate, they will not charge us for the <br /> overage. <br /> 0 Mrs. Botsford signed the paperwork for the building permit yesterday. <br /> • It is still reasonable to expect a closing by the end of September with a ground breading soon <br /> afterwards. Work for both the public bid, MHA portion of the job should run concurrently to the <br /> other job,. though, so we'll sae. <br /> Page 3of5 <br />
