Minutes for the regular meeting held on April 1 , 2811 were presented. A rutin was made by Nor. <br /> Laporte and seconded by Mr. Harsch to accept the minutes as presented. The motion was <br /> adopted. <br /> i <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT: <br /> Budget to Actual Report: Ir . Botsford presented the budget to actual report, prepared by the fee <br /> accountant, and reviewed it with the board, explaining the variances. � <br /> Accounts Payables: Mrs. Botsford presented the warrants for signature. The warrant for signature <br /> tonight are for the months of April and May 2011 and total as follows: For April: $34,279.49 for 4001, <br /> $6,238.00 for Section 8, $16,965.00 for MRVP, and $181,366.54 for Asher's Path Apartments. For May: <br /> $32,776.42 for 4001,, $7,115.00 for Section B, $16,957.00 for MRVP, and $33,280.71 for Asher"s Path <br /> Apartments. <br /> Rent Delinquencies: we have all rents paid in full at Asher"s Path, Breezy Acres and Homeyer Village. <br /> We are also 100% occupied at Breezy Acres, Asher's Path and Homeyer Village. I have one resident at <br /> Breezy Acres who is moving out and I arn'in the process:of Selecting a new tenant. <br /> . motion was made by Mr. Harsch and seconded by Nor. LaPorte to accept the treasurer's <br /> report as presented. The motion vwra adopted. <br /> EXECUTIVE DIF ECT R"S REPORT: <br /> Mrs. Botsford stated that she had mailed her report to the board for the months of April and May she <br /> added the following as an addendum to her report: <br /> I have been elected to the MssIAH Ro Board of Directors. <br /> • I have been nominated to the SMEDA (Southeaster Mass Executive Director's Association) Board <br /> f Directors. <br /> • I would like to again prepare an application to the CPA Committee for funding of a security <br /> deposit program, but would like to first go to the tern's Affordable Housing Committee for A <br /> support of the program. Does the board wish for me to proceed with this? <br /> A brief discussion ensued and a motion was made by Mr. Harsch and seconded by Mr. Laporte t <br /> have Mrs. Botsford request to be put on the Affordable Housing Committee agenda t <br /> presents and request support for, a security deposit/down payment program which will be <br /> later submitted to the Community Preservation n Committee for funding. The motion was <br /> adopted. <br /> 0 The last year on my contract is automatically renewed on July 1. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: Bone <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Comcast cable charge increase to residents: Mrs. Botsford informed the board that Comcast has notified <br /> us that our bulk cable rate is being increased to $12.55/month for each apartment at Homeyer Village. <br /> Mrs. Botsford requested that the beard allow the increase to residents to go from $12.00 to $13.00, with <br /> the additional 45 cents for each resident to go towards-the cost of the cable in the community room. <br /> motion was rade by Mr. Laporte and seconded by Mr. Harsch to raise the cable charge t <br /> Homeyer Village residents from $12,00 t $13.00 per month starting Judy 1, 2011. The <br /> motion was adopted. <br /> Approves r electronic signature stamp for bookkeeping rgrrn: Mrs. Botsford informed the board that <br /> there have been increasing problems with vendors and landlords not getting their checks through the <br /> automatic bill pay system we are using with our bark. It has created a lot of problems and there is a <br /> delay In getting funds credited back to our accounts when a check is missing. Our bookkeeping program <br /> -2 - <br />
