Page 6 <br /> Mr. Ferguson responded by saying the money is being used for town <br /> employee pay raises . <br /> Mr. Hartel of Deer Crossin .,felt a moratorium at this point would be <br /> counterproductive , He pointed out that the town had already taken <br /> steps to control growth last year with the village concept plan, which <br /> placed stridt controls on developers . <br /> Ir, Malone said if the town meeting rejects the hiring of a town planner, <br /> he would recommend that voters also reject the m ritorium as without a <br /> town planner to study hoer bet§t to handle multifamily housing units, the <br /> moratorium would be a waste .
