It was noted that the <br /> DPW relies heavily upon capital equipment to provide service to the <br /> residents. The department has recommended a seven-year equipment <br /> replacement schedule. <br /> The storage arae, a project originally proposed in 2002 would house <br /> DPW vehicles and related equipment. A 9,000 square foot building is <br /> proposed to be bonded over a 15-year period. <br /> Last year, the CIP Committee recommended the lease/purchase of a 10- <br /> wheel dump truck for the Department of Public-Works. *The amount o <br /> $50,000 was approved at the May Town Meeting to be expended over <br /> three-year period.
