Nara Costa said that it was <br /> a "Way" and rather than call it lot 2 on the Way, he thought by using <br /> Point Road, Seconsett Island would clear it up. Pauline said that 'n <br /> case of an emergency, it should be named properly. <br /> Chairperson Studley asked if anyone present wished to speak for or against <br /> the plan being presented. Stuart Baker, Creative Contractors, said that <br /> it was in favor of the project. <br /> Nearing of Benjamin and Shirley Nadelman Lot 2 Seconsett Road' <br /> Nor. William Lieberman was present to represent the applicant. Mr. & Mrs4, <br /> Na elman were also present curing the hearing. Several land owners in <br /> the area also attended the meeting. <br /> Chairperson Studley read the public hearing notice -- to construct a two <br /> bedroomsingle-family dwelling and associated septic system. <br /> Mr. Lieberman explained to the Commission that Mr, Na elr an is proposing <br /> to build the single-family house on 23 , 750 square feet on a lot which ad. <br /> loins his existing dwelling. He said that the lot has a rock wail revet- <br /> ment which exists mentioning that the stones are shown on the drawing. <br /> The lot is in the ill floodplain so that the elevation f the foundation <br /> has to he raised. The doable septic system has been designed in accordance <br /> with the Town of 4%lashpee regu lations . The house has been set back a reason- <br /> able distance from the roam and the sideline and from the water. He said <br /> that Mr. Nadelman specifically requested that the house be }sept low -- only <br /> single story. He also asked that it blend in with the area as much as <br /> possible, <br /> The septic system was reviewed by Mr. Lieberman and Mr. Falco i rio After <br /> review, Mr. Falconieri stated that he did not feel that it is a benefit t <br /> the area to put a house there. <br /> Chairperson Stu. iey asked how high the house foundation would be compared <br /> with the road elevations ? The house foundation is at elevation it and the <br /> road elevation directlyn front of the house is at elevation 10. hair- <br /> person Studley commented that the house itself would then be only .1 foot <br /> above the road grade. Chairperson Studley asked if the house would have a <br /> full foundation? Mr. Lieberman replied that It would be a full foundation <br /> but he cannot use it for storage or mechanicals. <br />
