Mr. Lieberman replied that there would be some digging <br /> and some filling as shown on the drawing. Charlie asked if the dotted <br /> lines represent the existing grade. Mr. Lieberman replied 'eyes, and the <br /> solid lines represent the final grade. 11 Charlie asked if ,anyconsidera- <br /> tion was given to putting the house on piles? Mr. Lieberman replied <br /> not in a A zone; in a B zone they would put it on piles. He said that <br /> s best as they could tell from a reap, the property is right on the bor- <br /> der between an A and B zone. <br /> Chairperson Studley asked how much above the road elevation the first <br /> floor would be: i r. iebe rrman replied that it would be flet above the <br /> toad directly in front of the house. Chairperson Studley asked., if they <br /> were planning to fill around the foundation: Mr. Lieberman replied that <br /> the proposal is to fill in front of the foundation. Chairperson Studley <br /> asked if he were speaking of the roadside. Mr. Lieberman replied "yes" . <br /> Chairperson Studley asked if they would be bringing it to road level. <br /> Mr,, Lieberman replied "t ust -below road level. " He said that it is as <br /> low as he could put the house. <br /> Mr. Merrill asked what the setback was from the road: Mr. Lieberman re- <br /> plied that it was 28 feet from the road to the house. Mr. Merrill asked <br /> how far the house was from the water-.7", Mr. Lieberman replied that it was <br /> 50 feet from the water.
