Conservation Commission <br /> November 30, 1989 <br /> Page 1 . <br /> DANIEL'S ISLAND IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION Mike Borcelli of Holmes & McGrath was <br /> present for the scheduled order of Cond i t i in s and advised they received a copy <br /> of the letter from Charles Rowley and have addressed all of the issues but one, <br /> which they feel can be conditioned. <br /> The size equipreen was questioned. r. Borcelli stated any utility or contractor <br /> has equipment available for working around tight areas. Specificity is difficult <br /> but will be incorporated into the contract. <br /> Ms Behrman stated temporary stockpiling of excavated material is a serious concern. <br /> Mr, Borcelli stated this can be conditioned. <br /> Mr. Coffey stated if it is let out to bid, it would be better for thea to know <br /> ghat we will require and have them bid to what is required. <br /> Charles Rowley' s recommendations were reviewed. <br /> Mr. Borcelli felt the Commission could go forward now with Mr, Rowley's recommend- <br /> ations as a guide line. <br /> Mrs,. Si mons stated the Commission would like a definition of the types of equip- <br /> ment to be used and methods. fir. Borcelli stated track mounted bulldozers and <br /> excavators will be used to strip any existing. <br /> FIs Behrman requested maximum size. Mr. Borcelli suggested a maximum blade width <br /> smaller than read width, or 6 feet. Nothing will be torn up until ready to pave <br /> in the spring. <br /> Mr. Coffey pointed out a car could not get past an 8 ft. blade and the road would <br /> be travelled in the spring. Mr, Borcelli stated construction could last up to a <br /> month. He offered to come up with a written strategy or methods of construction <br /> to allow the Commission to come up with an order of Conditions, He agreed to a <br /> waiver on the time constraints on the order. <br /> To BE CONDITIONED ON DECEMBER 1 , <br /> MARCIA JOHNSON: A copy of a letter sent to the Selectmen expressing interest <br /> in membership rbership was read. <br /> JOHN KELLEY; Order of Conditions being held pending BEP number. Mr. Sherman to <br /> call and follow up with letter. <br /> S NTUIT WOODS: A letter from All Cape Survey was read requesting orders for <br /> Lots 45, 46A 1bska Road and 105 Shields Road. Plans were received. <br /> Letters were sent to Mirrione Construction and John Sullivan, Redwood Circle, <br /> re cleaning and maintenance of catch basins. No response received from John <br /> Sullivan. Mr. Sherman to verify status of drains, if not completed, Leldon <br /> Langely to be contacted. <br /> Letter from Charles Talanian was read concerning the release of bond for Cartal <br /> Development, ockway Bay road. It was agreed this should not be acted upon. Bob <br /> BurgTan to be called. <br /> NEW SE B RY CORP. : Leslie Ann Morse inquired into the $600 still owed to S bati <br /> by New Seabury.
