Conservation Commission <br /> November 30, 1989 <br /> Page 16. <br /> Thank you letters were sent to Polly Marsters, Elliot Rosenberg, Deldre Greelish <br /> and Charles Rowley. <br /> ORDERS OF CONDITIONS ISSUED: Tomas sett i and Mullen. <br /> NEW SEABURY - ENFORCEMENT ORDER: A letter was read, Mr. Groetzke showed pictures <br /> of the area as it appeared in the past. <br /> Mrs. Simmons stated there has not been this type of extensive cutting previously, <br /> Mr, Groetzke stated they would like to pursue a maintenance schedule for the golf <br /> course. The Commission agreed this should be done. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated what they wart to do for the pond will have to be balanced by <br /> the concerns of the commisison, <br /> Mr. Groetzke advised they are doing beach nourishment and will have equipment down <br /> on the beach net week. They will repair and stabilize the bank at the same time. <br /> The Enforcement Order was ratified. <br /> OSKOWIT : Amended Order issued applying only to the relocation of the stairs <br /> A Notice of Intent on the dock is to be heard on January -25, 1990. <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH BYLAW: CZM will support a bylaw addressing a vegetated type of <br /> non-eroding coastal bank. <br /> DREW REALTY TRUST: After research it was ascertained the Commission responded in <br /> time. <br /> ENFORCEMENT 1T ORDERS: Mr. Sherman advised there are some that have been neglected. <br /> A letter to be sent. <br /> JEAN COLLINS DEP stated if going to be done exactly as it is to date, it <br /> is up to the commission whether an RDA is required. Edwards Boatyard will be <br /> doing the work and will submit details of how it will be done. The Commission <br /> agreed if this will be acceptable, no PDA will be required. <br /> NEW S ABU RY CRP. : Memo to the Selectmen re land swap. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to re-ratify the memo sent to the selectmen <br /> pertaining to the litigation with New seabury on the Bufflehead Bay <br /> situation and the land swap. <br /> Town counsel stated this was a perfectly legal request. <br /> CZM MEETING W1 TH NEW SEABD y: Mr. Sherman reported New Seabur r's record is not good <br /> and he felt the reception for the marina plan was not favorable. <br /> Nor. Sherman called for a vote on the regulations. Mr, Coffey- advised he was <br /> approached by a gentleman after the meeting who stated he had something to say <br /> by declined to stand up and voice his opinion. He further stated it is h i s <br /> feeling the ACEI protection in the bylaw looks like it has ferocious teeth but <br /> doesn't do any good at all . This regulation would allow the Commission to address <br /> the spirit of that original bylaw. <br /> Pers. Simmons noted the pages were clipped together and it was unclear that the <br /> notation on the hunting bylaw did not pertain to all the regulations, they had <br /> been approved as to foram as well as content. <br />
