MASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> Minus of 6 January 2000 <br /> Commissioners present: John Fitzsimmons, Ralph Shaw, John Johansen, <br /> Carol Moore, George Green Jr. <br /> The Chair called the meeting to order at 6;45 p.m. with a quorum present. <br /> 6:45 REGULATIONS HEARING: The regulation concerning vernal pools <br /> ill now be consistent with State Regulations. Definitions were defined and <br /> references incorporated. <br /> The Chair stated certification of a vernal pool is not an easy process; it takes <br /> a let of work. He asked hove many there are in I ashpee. Mr. Sherman <br /> advised 20 have been certified. <br /> Comments were requested by the Chair. There were none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to accept the regulation as proposed. <br /> 6:55 PUBLIC COMMENT: None. <br /> 7:00 DAVID H. VVEBB for Determination of Applicability on the addition <br /> of a second floor bedroom and a Fast Septic system at 43 Tide Run. Mr. <br /> Webb was present. He stated any vegetation removed will be replaced. <br /> 1 . Sherman stated this wiR be a plus and is on the street side of the house. <br /> Public comment: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to find negative. Unanimous vote. <br /> NEGATIVE DETERMINA'T'ION. <br /> 7:05 PETER RR MME for installation of a swimming pool, spa, pool deck <br /> and mitigative plantings, retaining wall and pool fence at 130 Shore Drive <br /> Vest. Mary Leblanc represented Mr. Brumme. This lot is near the golf <br /> course and is undeveloped. The house is beyond the 100' and permitted <br /> separately. The coastal bank is in good shape. This was planted under an <br /> enforcement order . It will be filled.in with additional A nmophil . The <br /> owners would like to get from the pool area with an access path. She will <br /> select a route with the Agent and flag it. The existing path will be <br /> reegetated. The pool is to be surrounded by native plants. A ' high <br /> retaining wall will act as the pool fence. <br />
