Town of Mashpee <br /> Conservation Commission <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> February 15, 2001 <br /> The Town of Mashpee Conservation Commission Meeting was <br /> Called. to order in the lower level Conference Room, Mashpee <br /> 'down Hall, 16 Great Neck Road North, Mashpee, Massachusetts at <br /> p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2001. The Chairman, John <br /> Fitzsimmons, presided. <br /> Commissioner present: John Fitzsimmons, Chairman; John <br /> Johansen, Clerk; Carol Moore; Ralph Shaw; Robert Shea; Leonard <br /> Pinaud, Associate Member; and Michael Talbot . <br /> Also present: Robert Sherman, Conservation Agent; and <br /> Diane Boretos, Assistant Conservation Agent . <br /> The Chairman declared a quorum to be present and called the <br /> Meeting to order. <br /> Regulations Hearing <br /> i <br /> Mr. Sherman proposed a Ten ($10 . 00) Dol.lar increase of all <br /> Town of Mashpee Conservation Regulation By-law) Fees. <br /> i <br /> There being no public comment, the Chairman entertained a <br /> motion. <br /> MOTION: John Johansen made a Motion to increase all Town of <br /> Mashpee Conservation Regulation (By-law) Fees by Ten ($10 . 00 <br /> Dollars; which Motion was duly seconded and so voted unanimously. <br /> Public Conment <br /> Having put the question, the Chairman determined there was <br /> no public comment . <br /> Post Agenda Items-Old Business <br /> . Mr. Sherman clarified that Liana Lund, in her capacity <br /> as Administrative Assistant, should not be responsible for <br /> attending Conservation Commission Meetings and providing- the <br /> Minutes thereof . In doing so Mrs . Lund finds it is quite time <br /> consuming, distracting her from Departmental duties. <br /> Mr. whritenour has agreed that the Administrative Assistant <br /> job description should be revised eliminating any Board <br /> Secretarial responsibilities. <br /> An arrangement has been reached with the Personnel <br /> Department whereby they have agreed to fund a Board secretary <br /> position through the current fiscal year.
