funding be assumed through the Conservation Account for the <br /> upcoming fiscal year, contingent upon Town Meeting approval . <br /> Thereafter, funding would be incorporated into the Town Budget. <br /> There being no comment from the Commission, the Chairman <br /> entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: Ralph Shaw rade a Motion to approve the proposal <br /> for use of Board Secretarial services, funding for which will be <br /> provided by the Personnel Department through the current fiscal <br /> year; by the Conservation Account for the upcoming fiscal gear, <br /> until such time as funding is factored into the Town Budget; <br /> which Motion was seconded by Carol Moore and so voted <br /> unanimously. <br /> 1. Mr. Sherman reported a member of the Cape Cod <br /> Commission staff is expected to address the Commission at this <br /> Meeting regarding the possible Jurisdictional determination <br /> concerning anticipated New Seaburl projects, which may be <br /> postponed : oo p.m. . <br /> . Diane Boretos reported all Dave- Sharpe signs have been- <br /> completed. Arrangements have been made with Mrs. Sharpe <br /> regarding a Dedication Ceremony scheduled for Saturday, April <br /> 1st, 10 : 00 a.m. <br /> . Mike Talbot reported on a meeting conducted this date <br /> with Natural Resource Conservation Service, and wBNE . Serious <br /> consideration is being made to developing a one-day conference to <br /> include landscape professionals, designers, contractors, <br /> builders, and arborist industries. The focus of which would be <br /> awareness/educational issues related to ornamental landscapes, as <br /> well as to provide credits and enhance their individual <br /> businesses. Mr. Talbot has volunteered to coordinate said <br /> efforts. <br /> 7: 00-Mashpee water District Application for Determination of <br /> Applicability on the installation of a water main and <br /> appurtenances within the riverfro t area of Childs River and the <br /> buffer zone to an isolated wetland within the existing pavement <br /> of old Barnstable Road and Lady' s Slipper Lane, Assessors Maps <br /> 78 and 79 . RDA <br /> The Chairman recognized Melissa Freedman, representing <br /> Mashpee water District. she stated the Conservation Agent had <br /> visited the site this date; has requested proper notification be <br /> made to the Commission upon installation so that an 'inspection <br /> could be made. <br /> Mr. Sherman ,informed the Commission that he has no concerns <br /> in this regard; recommended a legative Determination. <br /> There being no Commission or public comment, the Chairman <br /> entertain a motion. -2- <br />
