i <br /> I ASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> Minutes of February 27, 2003 <br /> Public Hearing <br /> las pee Town Hair Meeting Room 3 <br /> Commissioners present* Jack Fitzsimmons, Elliot Rosenberg, Cass costa, Leonard <br /> Pindr Ralph Shaw} and Michael Talbot. <br /> Staff present: Robert Sherman, Agent; Frances Wise, Board secretary <br /> ,hack Fitzsimmons,mons, chairman, called the meeting to order at 6:55 p.m. <br /> . <br /> Public Comment: Christine Herbert, Auburn, MA, presented a tax statement for a <br /> home she is contemplating buying which states that the house is being taxed for three <br /> bedrooms. Bob said only the original permit is on file which specifies two bedrooms, so <br /> one of the owners added a room without a permit. If she wants to retake any changes in <br /> the house, she would have to apply to the Building inspector <br /> Non-Hearing Alen <br /> �. <br /> Old Business <br /> 1. Administrative Approvals. Bob requested that the following be approved pending �. <br /> his verification. <br /> RFAA, SE 43-2017 <br /> RFAA: SE 3-200 <br /> FAA: SE 43-2149 <br /> -Motion made, seconded and unanimously r carried to approve the administrative <br /> changes to RFAA, SE 3-2017; RFAA, SE 3-2090; and RFAA, SE 43-2149, pending <br /> confirmation from the conservation Agent that the projects are as advertised. <br /> 2. RFAA -New Seabury Marina. Bob said this is replacing the upper part of the <br /> walkway at the New S abury Marina. Ire's seen it and he recommended approval. <br /> Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve this administrative <br /> request. <br /> 3. URS. Bob said Bill.Fisher, URS, has been working with us on the fish ladder <br /> design on the water control structure replacement in the Quashnet Fiver. We've had a <br /> cost over-run, which is not URS's fault, but due to the additional dialogue between the <br /> Division of Marine Fisheries and URS, and Bob has asked then he thought the <br /> members would concur) to make sure they are representing us. The cost will run <br /> around $1,700, and he urged that the members Grote to take the money out of the <br /> Conservation Maintenance and Improvement Fund where we have sufficient funds <br /> over $30,000. <br />
