The Director gave an update on the Mashpee Substance Use Task Force. The Drop-In <br /> Night was well attended. People heard about it through the radio piece and reverse 911. <br /> She reported the Task Force is talking about getting a resource for teenagers whose <br /> parents are struggling with Substance Use Disorder, Alateen has agreed to join the Drop- <br /> in Night, <br /> The Director noted she attended the re-entry meeting at the Barnstable House of <br /> Corrections for people who are transitioning out of the jail into the community. <br /> She noted Melissa.Ianiszewski, MOAPC Coordinator, who has been very helpful to the <br /> Substance Use Task Force, is leaving because she is moving. <br /> The Chair announced that the Substance Use Task Force is co-sponsoring an event with <br /> the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce: Let's Connect: Opioids & Workplaces-Business <br /> Forum. The event is to be held on December 6 at the New Scabury Country Club. The <br /> goal of this forum is to educate employees about substance use addiction and help them <br /> create a safe and healthy environment. The training is open to the Chambers and the <br /> public. <br /> The Director noted the Community Health Center has helped design a Rack Card for the <br /> Mashpee Substance Use Task Force, 1000 Rack Cards will be printed, the cost will be <br /> $163.00. <br /> Motion: Frank Fantasia moved to spend $163.00 for 1.,000 rack cards. Seconded by <br /> Ebony Steele.
