Michael Hanlon and Mr, Michael. Scipione were in at- <br /> tendance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr. Bcipione informed the Board the draft report for the <br /> pilot study has been completed. The results were promising <br /> using the SBR a first stage. fir. �cipione stated copies <br /> of this report will be forwarded to the State. <br /> Discussion took place regarding options available using <br /> SBR first stage. Questions were raised as to the current <br /> status of the solar aquatic system in Harwich. <br /> Mr. Hanlon informed the Board he has learned the Base is <br /> not interested in considering iashpee or 8andwich septage at <br /> thein treatment plant. Mr, Hanlon commented he does not <br /> foresee any available State Grants. <br /> Discussion took place regarding a possible solar aquatic <br /> system at which time fir. Hanlon recommended this Board con- <br /> sult with D.E.P. to determine what percentage would beac- <br /> ceptable as solar aquaculture and what percentage would be <br /> acceptable as conventional. Aquaculture systems have not <br /> been developed with sptage but have been developed treating <br /> wastewater, if septage can be pretreated to wastewater <br /> strength and the system is designed, . . . may forward thein <br />
