Gree l i h and seconded by Mr. Wilson, the <br /> Board of Health unanimously voted to adopt the following stable regulations <br /> e e <br /> in the town of [ ashpee. <br /> 1 . ) No-.person shall erect, occupy. or use for a; stab l-e any building <br /> -- l and fore the housing of horses and/or ponies in the town of <br /> Mashpee, `unless *such use is authorized and licensed by the <br /> Board -of Health and is in compliance with the zoning by-jaw <br /> of the town of Mashpee. <br /> 2-. License fee. shall be $5.00 for each horse and/or porky, effec- <br /> tive January 1st of each calendar year. <br /> 3. ) No stable may be constructed within the town of Mashpee unless <br /> a stable license is first obtained from the Board of Health. <br /> The construction of stables shall be in conformity with the <br /> lashpee Building code. <br /> . Stables will conform to the following: <br /> A. - There shall be adequate ventilation in every stable <br /> B. There shall be at least two windows in every stable. <br /> O. Each equine shall have its own stall in a stable. Each <br /> stall shall be of adequate size, so that any horse and/or <br /> pony shall have room to comfortably lie clown or stand up. <br /> D. There shall be adequate drainage either natural or <br /> artificial . <br /> E. The flooring ba 1 l be of such construction as to support <br /> the intended loading and shall be maintained in such a <br /> runner as to provide a clean and dry area. <br /> F. There shall be an adequate water supply for watering the <br /> animals, for fire control and for cleaning the premises. <br /> The water shall be tested for potability annually by a <br /> State certified laboratory and aa- copy of the analysis <br /> shall be submitted to the Board of Health prior to issuance <br /> f license. <br />
