MINUTES October 12, 1989 5 BOARD of HEALTH A- r, Cree l i s h stated Wes-ton & Sampson proposessample however does not ; J compare with High Water' s report and commented High Wood Water has done this town a disservice by not providing the report. Selectmen Hanson reiterated his earlier comments- stating he will provide the Board of health with the report tomorrow morning, Mr. Furgon .questioned the Board as to whether the handles could be placed back on some faucets so that flushing may take place. Mr. Creel i sh recommended ended all faucets remain off until Weston & Sampson submit their report, (with High,,Wood Dater results) . Mr. Ferguson suggested all bills incurred as a result of the water situa- tion itu - tion be forwarded to the school building committee. Selectmen Hanson was in agreeance with Mr, Ferguson' s suggestion. . Copy of letter from Defeo, Wait to C. Grassetti e . Sept i o system at Stratford Ponds - Mr. McQuaid informed the Board he did receive a call from the Engineer asking i f he would like to witness the inspection of the septic system at Stratford Ponds however, was unable to attend. The Board acknowledged receiving the letter. . Copy of minutes of South Cape Beach Advisory Comm. mtg. of 10/2/89 - Ir. Evans stated he was unable to attend the mtg�.�� The Board acknowledged receiving a ,copy of the minutes. g* ) Copy of arnstabie's underground storage tank regulation - for review - Mr. Gree ish stated he will review the regulation for comment at the next -regularly scheduled meeting. 10. Request for grant proposals, Dept. of Public Health, "Disability Pre- vention and Health Promotion - Mr, Creel ish requested Mr. Evans to pre- pare a proposa i for this grant as there is no town human service director 11 . Request from -Waste Man agement to tra.nsfer 1 i cease and way i ve f ees k for the remainder--o this ,year - Nor. McQuaid informed the Board Waste systems is currently licensed in the town, there only contract in town is with iugat' s. Mr. McQuaid explained Waste Management is a Division of Waste Systems , -they are trading off territories and are requesting this Board to waive the fee for -the remainder of the year. Mr-. McQuaid stated the will be submitting a bid bond, once received Waste Systems bond will be released. Mr. Gree 1 i h motioned to approve the request for waiver of licensing fee, Mr. Costa seconded.
