'BurFns acted as the <br /> chairperson until Joanne should arrive later. <br /> Inasmuch as the furnace in the Archives Building was not <br /> putting out heat this morning, Joanne will set up an appoint- <br /> ment t for Frank Hicks and- herself to meet with Bob w r i ton our <br /> to discus8 the condition of the heating equipment in the <br /> Archives Building <br /> II MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: The minutes of the November 16 , <br /> 1995 meeting wire accepted as presented. <br /> III REPORTS : <br /> 1. Copier Update: Ann Whitlow reported that delivery of <br /> the new copier wi11 be either Tuesday or Wednesday of <br /> next wee} . Following the delivery and installation, <br /> Ir, it Patrick will give a presentation Monday,T, Jan. <br /> 29th at , m. on the use of the new copier. <br /> The members of the H. C. agreed that the cabinet under- <br /> neath the old copier - should' be retained by the H. C. <br /> for use as additional storage space. <br /> . . Budget Update: Review Budget Preparation: The H. C. <br /> has requested the same amount as has been appropriated <br /> for - the past two years .' <br /> Budget Narrative was reviewed, <br /> major activities. for the past fiscal year were "Mashpee <br /> 1870 - 199511 , our pictorial hi tory and the visual ex- <br /> hibit of ashpee to accompany ,the book. This exhibit <br /> was open to the public throughout the year. <br /> . Joanne had explained in her interview with the press , <br /> our goal to have the lower level of the Archives <br /> Building cleared out so that we may display the exhibit <br /> as a permanent exhibit in the downstairs of the Archives. <br /> It was agreed that we should actively pursue that goal. <br /> 4 . Discussion followed relative to requesting ars increase <br /> in the budget amount allocated to the Historical Commis- <br /> sion in the future, <br />
