Grant Writing Workshop (Cont'd) ; Ann explained that the company that <br /> conducted thegrant writ ing workshop will critique their first grant. <br /> 246 -Marilyn Woods: Rosemary Burns reported that she had first gone to <br /> visit Audrey and George with the idea of seeing what photographs <br /> Audrey had from her father,, Audrey allowed the H. -C. to borrow their <br /> family albums. The H. C. was in the process of sorting through thea. <br /> Rosemary has had many of the pictures rade up at Picture This. <br /> Joanne felt that the publicity in the newspaper was excellent. <br /> Iv . OLD BUSINESS: <br /> 1. Orientation Guide: Joanne explained that was just about completed. <br /> Rosemary will edit - the history. When that was completed, that would <br /> just about put the orientation guide together. <br /> . Open House Update: .Ann Whitlow and R. Burns have been working n <br /> the open house pro j ect. Ann reported that she was working on the <br /> press release. The invitation and the program have been agreed npono <br /> list of everyone to whom they should sena a personal invitation -is <br /> being prepared.. <br /> Joanne made a motion that the invitation be approved. All in favor. <br /> So moved. <br /> R. Re urns suggested <br /> that the H. C. make a policy that we were not able to pursue indi- <br /> vidual geneaologies or researches <br /> V OTHER BUSINESS: <br /> 1. It was agreed that the H. C. renew the Cape and Islands Membership. <br /> All .in favor. moved. <br />
