Oakley who has been absent for the past few meet- ings, D. Joanne advised that on Saturday, during the memorial Day Week-end, she had tracked down the former Fire chief from Agawam, Russell Jenks. He was the purchaser of the Mashpee fire truck from the museum. He is in the process of restoring the fire truck and he plans to bring it to the Casey Coombs School on May 27th. V OLD BUSINESS Ernestine reported that she and firs. Hendrick had discussed the many needs of the museum. Ernestine had a list of supplies to requisition from Town Hall for the museum. Ernestine reported the following conditions prevalent in the museum which are embarrassing to the personnel and the public 1. There is a pungent odor prevalent. It smells like something died there. . The china closet in the livingroom needs to be permanently propped since it continues t lean forward. . There are reports of snakes coming out of a hole in the floor. i . Screen doors need screen repairs in many areas. The flies were very thio recently when the hot weather arrived. The screen door needs to be rFehung due to the sinking o f the building. . The crags in the display eases are a regular problem. it is a dangerous situation to children visitors to the museum. 6. There is a hole in the liyingroom window facing the parking lot. . The carpeting in the hallway is buckling. A new runner was promised several years ago. The vacuum cleaner that they clean the rug with, has dnly five inch nozzle - only an attachment. . A new lock is needed for the upstairs window facing the parking lot.
