The roof needs power washing, scraping. There is a fungus growth on the roof that is eventually going to rot the shingles. Joanne explained that if repairs were going to be done, per. haps the members would have a little enthusiasm to clean and prepare for the summer season. Joanne volunteered to write a letter to Bob Whritenour, incor- porating rnestine ' s list of needs and repairs to the museum, and request some action. B, Historical Commission Budget: Joanne explained that the budget ends June 30, 1995. Most of the monies for this year have been spent on reproducing photos, etc, for the photo exhibit for the 125th anniversary celebration. All of the pictures have been pretty much taken care of, With what money is left, Joanne suggested they night consider purcha l g a new file cabinet, as well as some type of storage rack this year. Joanne indicated their three top priorities were: 1. A new computer system, 2. A new Xerox machine. . A better display case. Joanne suggested a tall dis- play ease would have a better display. A complete set of documents from the land suit had also been discussed, Since this was one of the biggest events in the history of the community, the historical commission should' have a whole transcript. That will. run between $300. and $400. After the activities die clown from the 125th anniversary y celebration, Joanne suggested that within our own gathering they should have some type of reception for those who have made donations to the historical commission* Joanne stated that donors have made some worthwhile contributions , as well as those who have donated materials to the publication of the 125th annirersar .
