.rt <br /> (MHSQ, the HC VC Upper Cape Domestic violence Coalition), CCNSC (Cape Cod <br /> Neighborhood hborhood support Coalition), SMEDA (southern Massachusetts Executive Directors <br /> Association), Chamber of Commerce, and the Affordable Housing Committee. she <br /> reported that she could not make it to CHoo (Cape Housing Officials organization) this <br /> past month but that she attended five more of the Citizens Legislative seminars and <br /> finished up this past Wednesday,. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that we have 2 AHVP vouchers, 23 MRVP Mobile, 38 Project <br /> Based vouchers, and 30 Housing Choice vouchers leased in llashpee. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: - <br /> Affordable Housing Corn ltte : Mrs. Botsford stated that the committee could not <br /> meet officially dine to lack of a quorum, The committee did hear a presentation from a <br /> local developer and his attorney regarding a 40B project they may do in Mashpee. <br /> Ash r`s Path RFP: Mrs* Botsford stated she has hired an attorney to represent the <br /> housing authority with the neer development. This is the same attorney that has done <br /> the pro-bond work for us with regards to the deed transfer. She has pensive <br /> experience with development and contractors and has agreed to gait for payment until <br /> the deal is closed and the housing authority receives its fee* The deed for the Asher's <br /> had some language in that the attorney thought was unclear. 1 e have <br /> � property � <br /> been working with the town's attorney to try to clarify the language. This needs to be <br /> done before the FFP can be issued, so the issuance of the RFP has been delayed until <br /> clarification can be made. <br /> Qpg Cod Commission Grant* Mrs. Botsford reported to the board that she has received <br /> the feasibility study dome by Coastal Engineering and has provided all board members <br /> with a copy of it. The report indicates that 4,8 acres of the 6.2 acre lot is currently not <br /> developed. The report indicates that, without a wastewater treatment facility, <br /> bedrooms could be added to thep roperty. With a wastewater treatment facility 48 <br /> bedrooms could be added. The expense, however, is great. The facility would cost <br /> approximately $300,000 to install and $30,,000 annually thereafter. Mrs. Botsford stated <br /> that the net step would be to contact DHCD to see if the housing authority could get <br /> their permission to develop the property. <br /> NEINBUSINESS: None <br /> OTHER USI N ESS: <br /> Mrs. Botsford advised the board that she has met with a representative from HUD with <br /> regards to the process of filing for federal recognition with HUD,, which would allover us <br /> to apply for section 8 Vouchers when HHD announces a NOFA (Notice of Funds <br /> Available), Mrs. Botsford needs help from an attorney to do some of the paperwork <br /> involved and will be applying to Lawyer's Clearing house for another pro-bono attorney. <br /> Mrs, Botsford stated that she had written a letter to chairperson Finton and provided <br /> copies of the letter to other members of the board. The lever requests the board to <br /> approve a Christmas bonus to the housing authority employees for all of their hard <br /> work over the past year.
