-'S <br /> ti <br /> Minutes of the Meeting <br /> MASHPEE HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> Board of Commissioners <br /> January 10, 2002 <br /> The meeting was called to order by the chairperson at 5.40 p.m. and a quorum <br /> declared with the following members present: L rri Finton, E. Stuart Peoples, and Nary <br /> Lin ins. Also in attendance was Leila Botsford, Executive Director. LaVerne Williams was <br /> absent. <br /> SECRETARY'S REPORT: <br /> Minutes s for regular meeting held on December 13,, 2001 were presented. A motion <br /> was made by Mr. Peoples and seconded by IIs. Likins to accept the minutes <br /> as presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT: <br /> Bud et t Actual and Narrative: Mrs. Botsford provided the board with the Budget to <br /> Actual Report, prepared by the fee-accountant, which represented the sixth month of <br /> the fiscal year. Mrs. Botsford pointed out that even though we were using budget <br /> numbers from last year's approved budget all expenditures erre again within budget, <br /> with the exception of the maintenance salaries which was adjusted as required by the <br /> Dept. of Labor and Industries. Mrs. Botsford noted that she provided a treasurer's <br /> report with regards to the bark accounts. Mrs, Botsford mentioned that she has <br /> checked with DHCD on the status ofthe budget. As of yet, it has not been approved, <br /> Accounts Payables; Payables totaling $10,822.40 were presented to the Board for <br /> review, approval and signatures. The warrant was presented to the chairperson for her <br /> signature. Mrs. Botsford stated that she wished to point out a payment in the amount <br /> $3,000-00 payable to coastal Engineering. This check is to pay them for the feasibility <br /> study they conducted at 570 Old Barnstable Road. The grant payment has already <br /> come in from the cape Cod Commission to cover it. <br /> Rent Delinquencies: hers. Botsford stated that all rents are paid in full at Homeyer <br /> Village. One resident at Breezy Acres has not paid. A Motion was made by Ms. <br /> Liiins and seconded by Ir. Peoples to accept the Secretary's report as <br /> presented. The notion was adopted. <br /> PROGRAM UPDATE: <br /> Homey r Villa . Mrs. Botsford reported that this past month there was Binge, <br /> as usual. Residents had a pot-luck luncheon and Yankee Swap for their holiday party, <br /> which was very well attended. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that annual rcertifications have been mailed to residents and <br /> are due in the office net vire . <br /> Page 1 of <br />
