Botsford stated her contract would be up for <br /> renewal on February 17 and an evaluation should be done by the board, or at least a <br /> sub-committee. A short discussion ensued and it was decided that Ms. Sinton and his. <br /> Likins would form a sub-committee to conduct the evaluation. They will provide the <br /> evaluation to Mrs. Botsford sometime before the next meeting, <br /> Executive Director contract Renewal: Mrs, Botsford stated her current contract does <br /> not expire until February 16 and that she would prefer to review her evaluation before <br /> negotiating a new contract. This was agreeable to all present. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS. <br /> Mrs. Botsford advised the board that she is currently working on that application for <br /> I ashpee Housing Authority to become eligible for applying for Section 8 touchers from <br /> HUD. Legal assistance is needed for a portion of the application so she has submitted <br /> an application to Lawyer's clearinghouse for legal assistance with this project. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that she has sent a letter to DHCD requesting that they allow us <br /> to develop more units on the 705 property. She forwarded coastal Engineering's <br /> feasibility study for their perusal. <br /> 1r . Botsford reported that she has filed two applications for Technical Assistance with <br /> the Cape Cod Commission—one on behalf of the housing authority and one on behalf of <br /> the Vlashpee Affordable Housing Trust. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that she has sent a letter to the selectmen again requesting that <br /> they consider another donation of land to the housing authority for affordable housing <br /> development. <br /> I <br /> Mrs, Botsford noted that she has distributed information regarding the open Meeting <br /> Law and going into Executive Session. she stated that there are specific rules on why <br /> I <br /> and how a board can go into Executive session, and we should all be more familiar with <br /> them. <br /> Mrs. Botsford spore to the town planner with regards to the piece of property that we <br /> thought could get donated to the non-profit for development of one and two bedroom <br /> apartments. There is a problem with the tale so they cannot donate it at this time. <br /> Mrs. Botsford informed the board that she has had to give written nonce to an <br /> employee with regards to the Progressive Discipline Policy due to some problems she is <br /> having with this person's performance, <br /> COMMUNICATIONS/CORRESPONDENCE: None other than those already <br /> mentioned. <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br />
