TREASURER'S REPORT: <br /> Budget to Actual and Narrative:: Mrs. Botsford provided a treasurer's report with regards to the <br /> bank accounts and the Budget to Actual Report, prepared by the fee-accountant, which <br /> represented the second month of the fiscal year. <br /> Accounts Payables: Payables totaling $13,,227-12 were presented to the Board for review, <br /> approva -and si g natures. Mrs..-Botsford polnted out that there is a check to DHCD in the <br /> amount of$7,734.87, which represents the return of the unused operating subsidy money from <br /> fiscal year 2002. The warrant was presented to the chairperson for her signature. <br /> Bent Delinquencies: Mrs. Botsford stated that all rents are paid in full at both Homeyer pillage <br /> and:Breezy Acres. <br /> motion was made by Nis. Williams and seconded by Nor. Peoples to accept the <br /> treasurer's report as presented. The motion was adopted. <br /> EXECUTIVE II E T R'S DEPORT: <br /> Mrs. Botsford remarked that she had mailed her report to the board for the month of August <br /> and it is attached to these minutes as Attachment A. <br /> Mrs. Botsford added the following report: <br /> . Tonight we.will-meed to vote on the submission of our fiscal year 2003 budget. As you <br /> can see from the communications I sent to you, there are no increases to the budget <br /> :- <br /> this year; in fact wemill realize a decrease in maintenance and administrative spending. .r <br /> Some reorganization will need to be done by eliminating the Administrative s <br /> Assistant/Bookkeeper position and replacing it with an Executive Assistant position. All <br /> bookkeep i n responsibilities (with the exception of cross-handling/cross-checking) will <br /> now be assumed by me. <br /> 0 The town did place an article on the October town meeting warrant to transfer a piece <br /> of property to a non-profit for the development of affordable housing. They did not <br /> specifically name our trust as the non-profit as they have dome in the past with Habitat <br /> for Humanity. <br /> . <br /> F <br /> My son, Adam, who is going to be going to the Cape Cod Tech. School for information <br /> technologies and computer programming, has started the design and programming of a <br /> website for the housing authority. It should be complete by month's end. <br /> 0 The Criminal history Systems Board has advised us that our renewal for Criminal <br /> Offender Record Information (CORD Certification has been approved for another two <br /> years. di <br /> - <br /> 0 The year-end reports have been submitted to DHCD. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Ele .tion of Offs The Chairperson announced the opening of nominations for election of <br /> Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners for the Mashpee Housing Authority. A motion <br /> was made by Mr. Homeyer and seconded by Nor. Peoples to nominate David Harsch <br /> for the position of Chairperson. The motion carried unanimously. The Chairperson <br /> announced the opening of nominations for election of Vice-Chairperson of the Board of <br /> Commissioners for the Mashpee housing Authority. A motion was made by Mr. Ha <br /> and seconded by Mr. Homeyer to nominate E, Stuart Peoples for the position of Vice- <br /> hairperson.
