That is tentatively scheduled for,duly 10; I <br /> will keep you updated. <br /> • A couple Homeyer tillage residents contacted me about concerns that non-residents were <br /> coming into the community room late at night through the back doors and staying for quite a <br /> long time. I encouraged them to call the police if this were to happen, but they still felt concern <br /> and said other residents were worried about it too. I decided to conduct a surrey of all residents <br /> to see if residents wanted the back doors locked or unlocked. Only 1 of the residents <br /> responded, but the majority of 1 warted the doors locked at all times. This new policy was <br /> immediately implemented. There are a couple residents who are upset about it and being very <br /> vocal. I just wanted you to know. <br /> Mr. Halpern stated that he fully supports the actions taken by the Executive Director is this matter. <br /> 0 I attended the MassNARHO spring conference and attended the following sessions: <br /> • Small Housing Authority Administrator Interactive Forum <br /> • Mate code of conduct Regulations <br /> • Sample Operating Policies for Housing Authorities <br /> • Privacy Rights and the LHA <br /> 0 I may take 3 or 4 vacation days scattered over the next several weeks. <br /> LD BUSINESS: <br /> AshetJs Path Update. Mrs. Botsford covered this is her Executive Director's report. <br /> Board vaorlc& Mrs. Botsford stated that a letter of interest had been received by E. Stuart Peoples. <br /> She has advised the Town cleric and the clerk has advised us to take a vote and thea contact the Board <br /> of Selectmen to see about a joint-appointment. A motion was made by Mr. Laporte,which was <br /> seconded by Mr. Halpern, to recommend E. Stuart Peoples to fiii the board vacancy, The <br /> motion carried. Mrs. Botsford will contact the town In writing to see what action needs to be taker <br /> next. <br /> N E IV BUSINESS: <br /> Reasonable Accommodation Policy: Mrs. Botsford reviewed the drafted policy with the board. After a <br /> brief discussion a motion was made by Mr, Halpern,which was seconded by Mr. Laporte, t <br /> adopt the Reasonable Accommodation Policy. The motion carried. <br /> Parking.Policies: Mrs. Botsford reviewed the drafted policies with the board and explained the differences <br /> between the two (orae for Homeyer er village and one for Breezy Acres),Tonere was a discussion about the <br /> drafted policy and a couple changes were made. After discussion a motion was made by Mr. <br /> Homeyer, which was seconded by Mfr, Halpern, to adopt the Parking Policy for Homeyer <br /> Village and the Parking Policy for Breezy Acres. The motion carried. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS. <br /> CPA (Community Preservation Act)-updaLeIrepgrt from liaison. Mr. Halpern updated the board of the <br /> current proposals being reviewed by the CPA Committee. Mr. Halpern stated that the CPA committee <br /> voted 8-1 not to fund the housing authority's proposal. Mr. Halpern stated that Mrs. Botsford had done a <br /> lot of work in preparing the proposal and did a great presentation and he recommends submitting the <br /> same proposal again, although maybe in two phases. A short discussion ensued. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS/CORRESPONDENCE: None other than what was already discussed. <br /> The next regular meeting will be Thursday, July 13, 2006 at 5:30 PM. Mr. Laporte announced that he <br /> would be away and not be able to attend July's meeting. A decision will be made at the July meeting as <br /> to whether or not to have an August meeting. <br /> motion was made by Mr. Halpern and seconded by Mr. Laporte to adjourn.
