SECRETARY'S REPORT: <br /> Minutes for the regular- meeting held on October 11, 2006 were presented; A motion was made by Mr. <br /> Peoples and seconded by Mr. Homeyer to accept the minutes as printed. The motion was <br /> adopted. <br /> TI EASU ER"S REPORT: <br /> B duet Lq Actual arid_l_arrative: Mrs. Botsford provided a treasurer's report including the bank account <br /> report and the Budget to Actual Report, prepared by the fee-accountant, which represents through the <br /> fourth month of the fiscal year. She reviewed the budget to actual and provided an explanation for <br /> variances. Mrs. Botsford pointed out that the figures on this report are from last year's approved budget <br /> figures. <br /> Accounts Payables: Payables totaling $10,694.34 were presented to the Board for review, approval and <br /> signatures. The warrant was presented to the chairperson for his signature. <br /> t <br /> Rent i ell uencies: Mrs. Botsford stated that all rents paid in full at both developments and we are'at <br /> 100% occupancy at Homeyer Village. The Breezy Acres resident that moved out has made arrangements <br /> o pair her outstanding rent over the nett couple months. That unit is ready except for flooring <br /> throughout the unit, which we are waiting for a quote on. A motion was made by Mr. Halpern and <br /> seconded by lir, Laporte to accept the treasurer's report as presented. The motion was <br /> adopted. <br /> EXECUTIVE DI ECTo 's REPORT: <br /> T: <br /> Mrs. Botsford remarked that she had mailed her reports to the board for the month of October and it is <br /> attached to these minutes as Attachment A, <br /> Mrs. Botsford provided ars additional short written report, which was discussed. The report was as <br /> follows: <br /> • The Mashpee Hunan Service Council of which I am part of conducted a police officer training <br /> on the human service needs of Mashpee residents. <br /> I've contracted for snow removal services for the coring winter. <br /> • I will be attending the fall MassNAHRO conference Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I will be part <br /> of a SHADO presentation. <br /> • The annual contract for the MRVP Project Based units at Mashpee Village was signed but Anne <br /> Phelan stated in a letter to me that Mashpee Village would be requested that the bedroom unit <br /> as ignrnent be changed. I wrote to DHCD on October 30, 2006 for clarification on this issue as it .. <br /> was ray understanding that the Executive Director-salary is calculated using bedroorin units and if <br /> the bedroom size allotment was adjusted by Mashpee Village, thea my salary would be reduced. <br /> Ifi r waiting for their response. <br /> • The one and two bedroom MIVP Project Based waiting lists have been closed for some time and <br /> there are not marry left on either list. I will be requested that the board vote to open both lists, <br /> pending DHCD approval. After discussion, a motion was made by Mfr. Peoples and <br /> seconded by Mr. Halpern to open the one and bedroom MRVP Project Based waiting <br /> lists, pending DHCD approval. The motion was adopted. <br /> • The arrangement with Vincent has been working out well. He is working 10 hours a week and <br /> I've increased my hours back to 32 per week, effective November 1. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> E , .utiv Director review -_update. Mrs. Botsford stated that last year when her review was done, it was <br /> decided not to do a full review for two gears, but to get an update on the training/conferences Mrs. <br /> Botsford has attended were recommended at review time). Mrs. Botsford stated she'd attended the <br /> Nary McKay Section training in April, the MassNAHo spring conference in May and she will be <br /> attending the fall MassNAHRO conference this month. <br /> Page 2 of <br />
