There was no public comment. r N FISCAL YEAR 2008 BUDGET APPROVAL AND SUBMISSION: Torn Joy reviewed the figures for fiscal gear-end 2007, resulting in a reserve of approximately $22,000.00. DHCD has allowed a 12% increase to the budget in the non-utility items, except for salaries, which are capped at 7%. Mr. Joy reviewed the 4001 and MRVP budgets in detail. Mr. Jour explained the exemptions vire are requesting. One is to cover % of the housing authority's cost of the maintenance m n"s health insurance, who is now working ing 7 hours between the housing authority and Asher's Path. The.others'a re-forp r,0 perty insurance,"Workmah"s corn pensatioh,-and retirement increase., The housing authority will be requesting a subsidy in the amount of$22-,F638.00. _ r After discussion;ltiMr:'Laporte-- ov d:that the-Oeopos d:Op e tro - udg t for:St tAided 4001 Housing of the Mashpee Housing Authority Chapter 667/705 Programs Number 400-1 for Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2008 showing Total operating Receipts of$125,,600.00 and Total Operating Expenditures of$155,738.00 be submitted to the Department of Housing and Community Development for its review and approval. Nis. Garron seconded the motion, which, upon roll call, was passed by a vote of three to zero (0). Mr. Laporte moved that the proposed operating budget for State-Aided MRVP Housing of the Mashpee Housing Authority Programs Number MRVP for Fiscal Year Ending Juane 30, 2008 showing Total operating Receipts of$232,,081,00 and Total operating Expenditures of $210,500.00 be submitted to the Department of Housing and Community Development for its review and approval. lis. Garron seconded the motion, which, upon roll call,teras passed by vote of gree to zero(0). The budgets were certified and signed and sealed by the secretary. Mrs. Botsford will electronically subunit the budget and mail in the certification pages with the letter. The board thanked Mr. Jour for corning in.
