A quorum was declared with the <br /> following members present: Jill Allen, Richard Halpern, David Harsch and Francis Laporte. Charlotte <br /> Carron was excused. Also in attendance: Leila Botsford, Executive Director/Board Secretary, Edward A. <br /> Fish and Melissa Fish-Crane from Peabody Properties, and Susan Kellett, Paul McLaughlin, Sister Barbara <br /> Sullivan, Lucille Cronberg, Joan Dirac, Louise Are o, and Francis Arego, all Asher's Path residents, and <br /> Vincent Gault, Maintenance Superintendent for f ashpee Housing Authority <br /> The Chairperson called the meeting to order and first asked for the Executive Director's report. <br /> EXECUTIVE DE TO I 'FREPORT: <br /> Ms. Botsford remarked that she had mailed her reports to the board for the month of May and it is <br /> attached to these minutes as Attachment A. <br /> Nis. Botsford provided an additional brief written report, which was discussed. The report was as follows: <br /> 0 Annual inspections have all been done at Horeyer Village. There are two remaining to be done <br /> at Breezy Acres. They will be done by the end of the month. <br /> • I attended the CPA meeting on Tuesday night with regards to our application for Phase I of the <br /> 'ental Assistance Program. I've heard that they will not be funding the application this time, but <br /> don't have any details., <br /> • I'll be attending the selectmen's meeting on July.21 to review our DHCD application for the <br /> Breezy-Acres expansion project, They need to sign off on the application. <br /> • We had six bidders for the Breezy Acres boil r's._ It is rely recommendation- that tie board Grote to <br /> -award the contrast to Blaha Plumbing & Heating. They were the low bidders at 1 ,8 ;0and <br /> had all good references. <br /> 0 Just a reminder that my surgery is next Monday and I arra expected to be out for a period of <br /> about two weeks. After that I should be able to start driving and come back to work. I do plan � <br /> on working from home nett week as soon as I feel asp to it. <br /> i <br /> The Chairperson then skipped to the first item under old Business. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Asher's Path UDdate/meeting.with Mr. Fish: The Chairperson asked how things were going. his. Botsford <br /> reporting that things were actually going very well and that a lot had been accomplished since the last <br /> meeting. The side doors have been wired so that residents can use their fey-cards to access the buil ling <br /> from either side. There have been a few small glitches., but Associated Alarm is aware of the situation <br /> and will be working on it. Carreras were installed at both side entrances, ramping is in and the railings <br /> will be installed within the next few weeks. The landscaping its very much improved. many people <br /> mentioned hover nice the property looks. Ms. Botsford mentioned that all of the goals and bjectives'that <br /> the housing authority had drawn up have been addressed. She stated that she hais had a least two #y <br /> phone conferences with Melissa Fish-Crane and Alyce Tracey(Peabody Properti 'to talk about the_goals <br /> and objectives and how'.we will proceed with them. Communication has improved-and there'are 'picas in <br /> place to address the turning over of the management of Ashers Path to the housing authority, hopefully <br /> by next July 1; Ms. Botsford stated that I assHousing will be conducting a Property Management Review <br /> at the end of this year or beginning of next year, which will be a urge part of the process of certifying the <br />
