A short discussed ensued regarding the possibility of <br /> solar panels being used on the building. Ms. Fish-crane stated that there are grants available for such <br /> things and we will look into it. <br /> The Chairperson then asked if there was any public comment. <br /> Sister Barbara Sullivan was recognized and reported that about 26 residents met last evening and are <br /> forming a tenant organization. They elected officers and are working on finalizing by-laws. She stated <br /> that the goal of the association will be to assist other residents and work together with Leila. Sister <br /> Sullivan stated that there was some concern that there were no automatic door openers on the entrance <br /> doors to the building and that the doom for the trash and laundry rooms were hard to beep open when <br /> you are in a wheelchair. Nis. Botsford stated that quotes had been gathered to see what the cost would <br /> be to add automatic doom to the front and side entrances to the building. Ms. Fish-Crane and Ms. <br /> Botsford will work together to get these concerns addressed. Mr. McLaughlin stated that he though the <br /> temperatures in the hall ways way very hot. This week, when temperatures were in the 90s outside, it <br /> was at least that in the hallway upstairs. Vincent Gault confirmed that the venting in the common areas <br /> is simply an air exchange venting system, not central air conditioning. Il~it is hot outside, it will be hot air <br /> that is circulating. <br /> SECRETARY'S REPORT: <br /> Minutes for the regular meeting held on April 28,. 2008 were presented. A motion was made by [+fir. <br /> Laporte and seconded by Ms. Allen to accept the minutes as printed. The motion was <br /> adopted. <br /> TREASURER" REPORT: <br /> Budget to Actualand,Narrative: Ms. Botsford provided a treasurer's report including the bank account <br /> report and the Budget to Actual Report, prepared by the fee-accountant, which represents through the <br /> eleventh month of the fiscal year. She reviewed the budget to actual and provided an explanation for <br /> variances. <br /> Accou nts Payables: Ms. Botsford presented the warrants for the 4001 account, MRVP account, and <br /> Section 8 account were presented to the board for review and signatures. For April 29, 2008 through <br /> .dune 12, 2008, Accounts payables were: $42,796-98 for 4081, $12,172.00 for Section 8,, and $41,565.00 <br /> for MRVP. <br /> Ment Delinquencies: We had all rents paid-in full at Honneyer Village and Breezy Ages. The one resident <br /> at her's Path that is being evicted did not pay rent. A motion was made by Ms. Allen and <br /> seconded by Mfr. Laporte to accept the treasurer's report as presented.
