A quorum was declared with the <br /> following members present: Jill Allen, Richard Halpern, David Hersch, Fran Laporte, and Kevin Shackett. <br /> Also in attendance: Leila Botsford, Executive Director/Board Secretary. <br /> There was no public comment. <br /> SECRETARY'S REPORT: <br /> Minutes for the regular meeting held on June 18, 2099 were presented. A motion was made by Mr. <br /> Laporte and seconded by Ms.Allen to accept the minutes as presented. The motion was <br /> adopted. <br /> Minutes for the special meeting held on July 1, 2009 were presented. A motion was made by lis. <br /> Allen and seconded by Mr. Laporte to accept the minutes as presented. Ther odor was <br /> adopted. <br /> TREASURER'S REPORT; <br /> Budget to Actual and Narrative* Mrs. Botsford provided the board with the bank account report and <br /> reviewed the yearend report prepared by the fee-accountant, and the letters she has and will submit to <br /> DHCD regarding extraordinary expenses for Fiscal Year 2009. <br /> Accounts Payables: Mrs. Botsford presented the warrants for all accounts for board review and <br /> signatures. Accounts payables for Jure 19, 2009 through August 27, 2009 were as follows: $31,359.35 <br /> for 4001, $15,694.00 for Section B, and $42,780.00 for M VP. <br /> Fent Delinquencies: Mgrs. Botsford reported we have all rents paid in full at Horneyer pillage, Breezy <br /> Acres, and Asher"s Path. A motion was rade by Nor. Harsch and seconded by Mr. Sha c ett to <br /> accept the treasurers report as presented. The motion on teras adopted. <br /> EXECUTIVE DI RECTOR'S REPORT: <br /> Mrs. Botsford stated that she had mailed her-report to.the board for the month of July and it is attached <br /> to these minutes as Attachment A. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that vire have one Breezy Acres resident that has given notice and will be moving <br /> next month and 2 Asher's Path residents that are moving in September and two more the first of October. <br /> She also reported that she has been re-appointed to the MassI AHRO Professional Development <br /> committee and is working on a sub-committee with SHADO (Small Housing Authority Director's <br /> Organization) to plan their next presentation at a MassNAHRO Conference. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Breezy Acres Ex rasion PMje t: HAC Proposal; It was noted that the housing authority only received <br /> one response to the Request for Proposals for the Breezy Acres Expansion Project. The proposal was <br /> from Housing Assistance Corporation of Hyannis, MA. Members were previously all provided a copy of the <br /> proposal and had a chance to review it. A short discussion ensued and Ms. Gisele Gauthier arrived at <br /> approximately 6:40 to discuss the proposal with the Board. Along with Ms. Gauthier was Rich Fennucio <br />
