Elinor Glener seconded the motion. The motion was <br /> r unanimously approved. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. review of Human Services Committee Goals <br /> Review to be continued to the next Hunan Services Committee meeting. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Welcome to New Burd Secretary <br /> Veronica Warden extended a welcome to Ina Schlobohm, the new Hunan Services committee <br /> Recording Secret.a , <br /> . Leila Botsford, Director of Masbpee Housing Authority <br /> Leila Botsford staffed that the Housing Assistance Program has been fully funded through the <br /> Community Preservation Committee, and is set to go to Town Meeting in May. As soon as the <br /> program is approved at the Town Meeting, the program should be up and running by the end of Junes <br /> 2012, The Housing Assistance Program encompasses five parts: <br /> a) First Time Home Buyers Assistance <br /> b) First/Last Security Deposit requirement Assistance <br /> c) Short term Emergency Rental Assistance (no payback required) <br /> d) Short term mortgage payment assistance (no payback required) <br /> e) Longer term, on-going rental assistance with on-going case management assistance no <br /> payback required) <br /> l lashpee veterans are a preference priority in MA. - % of the returning vets from the acture war will <br /> be homeless, <br /> Assistance will be available to individuals with a household income of up to 100% of the area median <br /> income which is different for someone who may be applying for public assistance which requires up to <br /> 0% to 80% of the area median income. <br /> 1 <br />
