AECOM Report Review <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> MASHPEE BLUE BOOK <br /> Ms. Kane stated that she has edits to complete the final draft of the Blue Book. Committee edits can <br /> be emailed to Ms. Kane who will finalize edits over the weekend. Mr. York inquired about sending <br /> the draft for review by the Conservation Agent. Ms. Kane responded that the draft had been given to <br /> the Town Manager who planned to distribute the document to the appropriate departments, but no <br /> input was received. Mr. York stated that he did not believe the Conservation Agent received a copy <br /> and suggested that he should have an opportunity to review the book It was noted that the book was <br /> essentially in place and that changes were made to the pages regarding Mashpee specific information. <br /> Chairman CahaIane distributed examples of the bond and type of the paper that will be used in the <br /> book. The Chair noted that the cost was under budget at$17,000. The Chair suggested increasing the <br /> number of printed books from 10,000 to 12,000 or 14,000 copies. Committee members were in <br /> agreement and Mr. York recommended that copies could be mailed to businesses. The Chair reported <br /> that 9,600 households would receive a copy and that the mailing cost was estimated to be $2,300. <br /> Committee members agreed that extra copies should be available to the schools, libraries and Town <br /> Hall. Mr. Baker added that other towns on Cape may wish to view copies of the book. Chairman <br /> Cahalan stated that the printer requested permission to center the page number but Ms. Kane <br /> cautioned about the challenges associated with the program used. It was agreed that the printer could <br /> make the change provided it would be completed at no additional cost. Mr. <br /> Baker stated that an upcoming Town Meeting Article would be transferring land to the Conservation <br /> Commission rather than to Orenda. Mr. Baker suggested that Orenda does abetter job protecting their <br /> 4 <br />
