Helpful suggestions during training:
• Refresh the page in order to see the changes.
• Under construction pages offer no value to site visitors. With the ability to work in
draft mode, pages can simply be switched to Show On Site' when ready for public
viewing.
• When creating sub pages, keep in mind the three-click rule, if a site visitor cannot
find what they're looking for in three clicks, they will generally lose interest.
Therefore, it's important to not bury information too deep.
• Try to avoid lengthy scrolling on pages - break the information up into separate
pages for a more organized presentation.
District Web Policy
Purpose
The district Website should promote and enhance educational opportunities and provide
timely and appropriate information to the community and beyond.
