Suggested Memo to Department Heads <br /> To: All Mashpee Department Heads <br /> From: Town Manager <br /> I'I Subject: Requests for funds (Cable) <br /> Effective immediately, any requests for funds from the Cable account must be prepared in writing, contain a <br /> full explanation for the need, and be submitted to the Mashpee Cable and Advanced Technology Advisory <br /> Board ten(10) days in advance of the meeting date. If not initiated by the department head, such requests <br /> should indicate submission is with the knowledge and approval of the respective head of the initiating party. <br /> At the requested meeting date, the presenter(s) are requested to appear and further indicate the need for such <br /> funding. The MCAT committee will then postpone any further action(unless it is deemed an emergency <br /> situation) until a subsequent meeting during which time; they(the committee) may find it necessary to seek <br /> further information before rendering their decision. <br /> The MCAT committee's responsibility is solely a review board,to hear and discuss proposals to determine if <br /> the requests-fall within thv efiferia for grwnfing such funds. They will then make recommendations to the Board <br /> of Selectmen who have the final approval to grant the request or dismiss it. <br />
