Manager that a memo be forwarded to all department heads. The memo would state that any future requests
for funding through the Cable account would be submitted in writing at least 10 days prior to the committee
meeting date. Such requests would also signify approval by the department head. The subject matter of the
request and the presenter(s) would appear at the meeting and any action to be taken by the committee would
be done at a subsequent meeting.
The MCAT committee takes its responsibility to review the request and then recommends action to the
Mashpee Board of Selectman seriously. The committee is not responsible for the final approval, but rather
acts to see that the request meets the criteria for approving such funding.
Hopefully we will hear from your office concerning the request and someone will be in attendance at the
next MCAT meeting Tuesday, January 11, 2005
Sincerely,
Andrew Eliason, Chairman
Encl. Dutra Video Systems Estimate
The Camera Company Estimate
Request for Funding
CC: Joyce Mason, Town Manager
MCAT committee members
Jim Chisholm
Lolita McCray
