SECRETARY'S REPORT, Minutes for the regular meeting held on November 14, 2017 were <br /> mailed to members before the nneeting. A motion was made by Richard d Halpern and seconded <br /> by Kevin Shackett to accept the minutes as presented. The motion carried. <br /> TRIEASURER'S REPORT & BUDGET UPDATE*. Mrs. Botsford stated that the accountant had <br /> prepared the Budget to Actual report based on the Fiscal Year 2017 figures again, since budget <br /> guidelines were just recently issued. The Budget to Actual represents 6 months of our budget year, <br /> period ended 12/31/17. Mrs. Botsford reviewed the report and explained any variances. Mrs. <br /> Botsford presented the warrants for review and signature. The warrants for signature tonight are for <br /> the months of November and December and total as follows: November: 43 63 63 7 for 4001, <br /> 48,675.00 fog-MRVP, $57,528.03 for sher's Path Apartments, 6,710.04 for HAP, and $9,650.69 <br /> for Great Cove Community. For December: 46,495.20 for 4001, 45,275.00 for l R 'P, <br /> $2,927 . for A�sher's Fath Apartments, ,8 6 t for I AP, and 8,9 5 4.2 1 for Great dove <br /> Community. <br /> We have all residents paid in full at all developments with the exception of one resident who will <br /> have it in by next week. We have one vacancy at the 705/family unit. we expect that to be filled by <br /> end of this month. There was a lot of turnover work as this unit had been occupied for quite a long <br /> period of time. we have a vacancy at Homeyer Village which should he filled ed by the beginning of <br /> February. we have one vacancy at sher's Fath with the lease being signed next iveek, At Asher's <br /> Fath we have one other vacancy at the end of the month. The tenant is already selected, so it should <br /> be a quick turnaround. <br /> A motion was made by Jill Allen and seconded by Richard Halpern to accept the Treasurer's <br /> Report as presented. The motion carried. <br /> EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT & UPDATES: <br /> Mrs. Botsford stated that she had mailed her report for November and December and had just a few <br /> items to add: <br /> * All w- s and 1099s have been issued. <br /> * Benchmarks report for capital spending was sent to board members—no findings <br /> 0 Security cameras have all been installed. <br /> 0 The town is requesting we do an annual report. Mrs. Botsford will prepare a draft for <br /> February's meeting. <br /> 0 Things are going well in both Carver and Brewster. <br /> 0 Carol has a part time assistant helping out one day a week in l ash }ee (Betty fxom Brewster <br /> office). <br /> 0 Mrs. Botsford submitted the quarterly report to the town for the Housing Assistance Program.. <br /> A copy of the report was also provided to the board members. Mr. Halpern asked if this was <br /> the bind of report that we have been providing all along. Mrs, Botsford stated that yes it was; <br /> it was the report that had been proposed and accepted by the Town.N4anager. 1t was <br /> discussed that if any town selectmen contact board members that they should be reminded <br /> that the matter*is between the town manager and our executive director, a�_F decided by <br /> everyone almost 2 years ago. <br /> Page 2 of <br />
