Brackets are being considered to support the shelves. Discussion followed on who would be responsible for payment of repairs. It was noted that excess monies returned to the Town from the high school building project. Various staff requests are Being completed. Discussion followed regarding computers in the elementary schools. Currently, they are in the testing phase. Dr. IeMoura will do a total school system count of the number of computers in each school. Mrs. Lynch noted telephone coverage in the Superintendent's office when the Superintendent or his secretary is out of the office. She felt there should be a back-up system in place. Dr. DeMoura will follow-up with Merrimack Communications. 7.6 FY99Budget Review i-- Ms. Macdonald expressed concern over the heating sabring she thought there was not enough money for natural gas payments. Also, she had concern over the electrici-ty especially at the high school with night football games, night practices, etc. Mrs. Cook suggested revisiting at the October meeting line items 4130 (Utility services) and 4120 (Keating Buildings). Mrs. Lynch suggested documenting any budget transfers as they occur as the last page in the regular budget. Dr. DeMoura said recommended transfers will be brought up at the October meeting once school has opened. Mrs. Lynch asked if we were going to continue with the Crossing Guard at the intersection of Route 151 and Old Barnstable le f o 1. She asked to have the Crossing Guard more visible.
