The Board noted a communication fr~orri the Mashpee Chamber, o <br /> Commerce inviting thBoard of Selectmen to at-tend t h e <br /> lighting of the rotary on November 25 , 1988. <br /> OTHER NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1 . Mr. Car-ter informed the Board -that Gerry Sewell would be <br /> re,singning from the Finance Committee effective immediately <br /> and would o u i dat e with the Board in writing as soon as <br /> possible. <br /> This resignation would now leave -two vacancies on the <br /> Finance Committee and based on thfs , Mr. Carter moved to <br /> appo f n't Tony Ga I i o to the F i ranee Comm i tee w i th a term o <br /> expire at the 1989 Annual Ele ;tion# Mr. Harison seconded the <br /> motion and Mr. Lawrence was in favor . . Gottlieb wcanot <br /> present for the vote. <br /> . Mr . Murphy informed the Board that Mr. Hanson had requested <br /> that contact Representative Tom Cahir relative to Great <br /> Oak Road and the proposal made to DEN for repairs to the <br /> Road. Representative C h i r advised Mr , Murphy that the <br /> State Department of Environmental Management expects t <br /> issue a formal response o Mr. f i r n r of South Cape Beach <br /> Committee within a week to ten days.
