Mr . Blank
_ Page two
October 7 , 1982
The Commission has heard only favorable comments and
constructive criticism with regard to the Outreach program
from the Vietnam veterans in Massachusetts . Along with
general comments about the need for expansion, there were
concerns about Outreach autonomy and work in the areas of
Agent Orange , incarcerated veterans , discharge upgrade,
and continuing and improved communication links with the
Vietnam veteran organizations in the state. With the
additional exception of the work being done at the new
delayed stress ward at Northhampt_on, every other sector
of the Veterans Administration system has been the subject
of vituperative comments to say the lest.
I would welcome any discussion pertaining to this
request and look forward td hearing from you on this
matter. I thank you for your kind attention to this
matter.
Sincerely ,
• Paul P. Camacho
Exocutive Director
cmc
cc: Mr . Edwin P.
