" Mrs .
Tremblett, " October 6 , and the State fire marshall did get called
in, and he came over up to the Community College where I am, was
attending classes to speak to a friend of mine who had come by that
night. She came by at seven that night and my house was intact, and
initially Sgt. Cooper from the police department wasn't too interested
in going up to the college. Between the intimidations that I had gotten
and the accusations , the questioning the day after the fire , and the
recordings , the whole, all the connotations that was being put to us
he did not want this girl to be put under that so he , the Dean of
Students requested that they come up and speak to her there in the
Dean' s , his office . When Sgt. Cooper was told that, he wasn't inter-
ested in speaking to a witness that we had conjured up and that if she
did want to get involved that she should come see him during his busi-
ness hours . With that Dean Sullivan called the Chief of Police and the
next day Sgt. Cooper and the fire marshall were there getting the info-
mation that was needed. It is all pertinent to the investigation, but
it has just been one frustration, and really just confusing situation.
Plus the insurance company is involved and you know everybody and oh,
Mr. Martini said well we have nothing to do with the insurance company,
and all this stuff and when he found out the insurance company was
going to settle with usm he called them and told them not to give us
any money. " Chm. Thomas , " who did?" Mrs . Tremblett, "Mr. Martini. "
Chm. When people are faced
with personal disasters. Chm. Thomas, we cannot do anything if we
don' t know. " Sel. Garland, "what is the name of the young lady, the
witness?" Mrs . Tremblett, "Sharon Perdolla, I think . " Sel. Garland,
"thank you for bringing this to our attention. " Mrs . Tremblett, "you
can contact the Dean of students and I am sure he will be glad to tell
you what happened. " Chm. Thomas , "okay, Mrs. Tremblett. " Mrs . Trem-
blett, "thank you, thank you for listening to me. " Board thanked her
for coming. Mrs . Tremblett said, " and I ' ll see you in February. " Chm.
Thomas asked, "Did you make arrangement for moving the trailer over the
road. " Mrs . Tremblett, " I am on my way to the police station now, I
didn't want to make those arrangements until I knew what was going to
happen here today.
