Rule #6 of the Mules <br /> and regulations specifically addresses this matter:- except if the <br /> area, is not staked or otherwise clearly indicated, the layout cannot <br /> e termed "defined" . <br /> . DPW - request for transfer of funds . lir. Virgilio <br /> stated that the Department is having difficulty in maintaining equip- <br /> ment and requests a, transfer of monies into the Department' s expense <br /> account of at least $7 ,500a009Abe $ 9500e00e to start. The Chairman <br /> of the Finance Committee has signed the request for Transfer from the <br /> Reserve Fund. The transfer is not necessarily for repairs , it is to <br /> 11ma.inta.in business's. Mr. Virgilio has notified the Finance Committee <br /> that he will be looking for monies in the range of $18 ,000.00, all <br /> -together. <br /> WATER COMMISSION: <br /> Chairwoman Thomas turned the f ollowing reporting and dis- <br /> cussion to Town Planner, Tori Fudala , <br /> Mr. Fuda.la pr sent-ed information concerns-ng- Willow Bend <br />' Development formerly called Fox Run and the 6rilling of two test wells <br /> referred to as site T-4. One of the two wells came in as a. good prospect <br /> with a good flog of water and good quality. He . efer-red to his memo- <br /> randum dated December 23, 1986 re : "T-4" Well Site Testing, and memo- <br /> randum of December 29 , 1986: Mro Fudala said that discussions have been <br /> held with the Ford Development Corporation Group regarding ±-1'a. large <br /> development on the 'Quashnet River. Mr. Fuda.la said that discussions <br /> with. -them and their predecessors about using OSTDBy-law to develop the <br /> property. He said further that th' other discussions with Joe Murphy <br /> and Doug Boyd involves whether or not the developers would be willing <br /> to join with the Town to actually developing this well. They' ll need <br /> a well and a sewage system for the i.r project and there 's al o some <br /> indication that some of the other developments around the route 2 <br /> industrial park and Southc-e:pe resorts might also be pa.rtic,opants to <br /> eventually satisfy their water needs <br /> Mrs Dan HO tetter, Jack Myer, and Jack Hargate were present <br /> for discussion. The Chairwoman stated that I r. iawrence has met with <br /> Ir. Hostetter todiscuss concern about the "T-4" well. . She said , "Our <br /> primary concern is the problem we have in the Roiite 28 Asher's Path <br /> area and from there we 've developed a, well and we 're waiting for a, second <br /> stage. lir. Hostetter said that they would like to help develop the well <br /> at Asher' s Path. "We basically said that we would be willing to pay for <br /> the initial testing to find out if the water was good, It s. proven to <br /> e capable of handling approximately a. million gallons a. day* We have <br /> a. well that we have developed and we are capable of getting enough water <br /> for our project. we don' t have to leve lop another well; but we would <br />
