Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> May 10, 2010 <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Certification& Confirmation of Hiripg Procedure— <br /> Fire miter Pararnedic <br /> Fire Chief George Baler was in attendance to reco - fiend the Board <br /> certify and confirm the appointment of John Brannon as <br /> Firefighter/Paramedic at Step I of the intended pay scale. The <br /> certification is pending the LORI and psychological exam. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahal ne to certify and confirm the <br /> appointment of John Gannon to the Mashpee Fire Department as <br /> recommended and pending the exam requirements. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -0. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS A T CORRESPONDENCE-; <br /> Ton Election Results. <br /> The Selectmen expressed appreciation to all of the candidates who ran for <br /> various seats at the May Town Election. Approximately 10% of the <br /> 1lashpee citizens voted. For those who were unsuccessful,the Board <br /> urged the respective candidates to consider filling the vacancies in other <br /> boards and committees. <br /> In other matters,the Selectmen agreed that Public Comment is <br /> worthwhile agenda topic, and the comments and suggestions are fully <br /> recognized by the Board of Selectmen. <br /> New Seabury-Telecommunications ommunications T r Update- <br /> It was reported the wireless repeater tower located in New Sebury has <br /> been of interest to the Town for tel comm n <br />
