The Board will resume in Open Session <br /> at a time to be determined. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Costa. <br /> E: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: George, yes Peter, yes <br /> Judy, yes Jim, yes <br /> DISCUSSION RELATTYE To LM AT10 <br /> Attorney Patrick Costello met with the Board to discuss issues relative to <br /> the construction contract with Stone Building Company for the new <br /> Mashpee High School project. <br /> It was noted that the Town of Mashpee as owner,is considering declaring <br /> a Contractor Default against the Contractor, the Stone Building Company. <br /> For Treasons as certified by the architectural firm of Symmes,Maini and <br /> McKee,that the actual work completed on the project site is less than 0 <br /> percent of the values estimated in the projects progress schedule. <br /> In addition, the project architect has identified several items of work on the <br /> project site that are not being performed in accordance with their contract. <br /> The Board discussed the quality issues related to job performance and <br /> construction materials in addition to lack of apparent progress. <br /> Edward Frenette,project architect indicated that he is concerned with the <br /> lack of qualified supervision on the site,and the manner M' which the <br /> construction company proceeds without approved shop drawings. <br />
