Gregor McGregor, John Shea, <br /> Ralph willrner,and David Carpenter were present for discussion. <br /> Mr. McGregor indicated that his firm is ag gres sive and would enjoy <br /> taking on the Federal government on behalf of the Tern of Mashpee. <br /> Enclosed for the Board's review was a memo dated July 1, 1996 from <br /> McGregor and Shea presenting the firms qualifications and response <br /> the contamination. <br /> Mr. McGregor indicated that his firm is a small dedicated law firm <br /> practicing in environmental law and real estate litigation, and are known <br /> to be cost effective for municipalities. <br /> ttomey Shea discussed some of the fms major environmental <br /> campaign eases with the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Mr. McGregor added that he is enthusiastic to ensure a long term <br /> solution for the Town of Mashpee and added that he knows key people <br /> working for DEP}EPA, and the Attorney General's Office, <br /> In this campaign,we would work together collectively to identify <br /> strategies indicated Mr. Shea who noted that he has worked with the <br /> fmn of Woodard and Curran on an accelerated schedule in the past. <br /> Mr. Shea suggested to obtain and develop the supe of work for <br /> investigation from Woodard and Curran,the environmental consultants <br /> the Town has hired to review the remediation project. <br /> Our fnn would participate fully in mainstream methods to access <br /> the plumes indicated Mr. Shea who stated that computer modeling and <br /> graphics would help to obtain farther media attention. <br /> The Board requested a budget projection for one year. <br /> AD <br /> Motion made by Selectman Costa to adjourn at 7:20 p.m. <br /> The Board will enter unto open Session at this time. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marstear . <br /> i <br /> Unanimous. -0* <br /> Roll Call Vote.
