Draft] - March 16, 1995 <br /> to the Town,." <br /> Submitted by Petition <br /> Article 56. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend the language of Section 37-1 of Chapter 37 of <br /> the Mashpee Code by deleting the current language of said section and substituting <br /> the following: <br /> "The Board of Selectmen shall consist of five (5) voters of the Town, none of whom <br /> shall hold any other elective of (sic) appointed Town office except as otherwise <br /> authorized in this Code. Effective with the Annual Election of 1996, members of the <br /> Board of Selectmen shall be elected one (1) each from the residents of voting <br /> precinct two and three for a term of two (2) years, one (1) each from the residents of <br /> voting precinct one and four for a term of one (1) year and one (1) from the voters of <br /> Mashpee at large (to serve as chairman for a term of two (2) years. Thereafter, <br /> members of the Board of Selectmen shall be elected for two (2) years as their terms <br /> of office expire. maximum tenure in office shall be three consecutive terms." <br /> Submitted by Petition <br /> Article 5 7. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to delete Section 5-21 of Article VII, Chapter 15 of the <br /> Mashpee Code. <br /> Submitted by Petition <br /> Article 58. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to hire and equip four full-time firefighters and that the <br /> Town raise and appropriate or appropriate and transfer from available funds the sum <br /> of$162,635.00 to be apportioned as follows: Firefighter Salary and Wa.ge Account, <br /> $140,000.00; Employee Medical Insurance Account, $21,000.00; Group Insurance <br /> Account, $135.00; Medicare Account$1,500.00; and Firefighters Expense Account, <br /> $21,000.00 <br /> Submitted by Petition <br /> Page 2 7 <br />
