4 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 25, 2017 <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEADINGS <br /> PublicComment: (continued) <br /> Cathy Gallagher, Chair of Democratic Committee indicated she is a new homeowner in the Town of <br /> Mashpee and is disappointed with regards to the Selectmen's decision to not include the electmen"s <br /> agenda paelcet online, Ms, Gallagher indicated she has used the information when watching the <br /> Selectmen's Meeting spending an average time of one minute to download the packet. Ms. Gallagher <br /> stated she frequently obtains the School Committee meeting package online. <br /> Scott McGee echoed the comments nude regarding the Selectmen's agenda packet. Mr. McGee <br /> indicated the School Committee redacts telephone numbers and recommended theSelectmen's <br /> informational meeting packet go out 72 hours in advance. As a member of the Cape Cod Technical <br /> School Board Ir. McGee made note of the importance of getting the school built as many young <br /> families are leaving, and people with trades have a good chance of staying on the Cape. Mr. McGee <br /> stated he is hopeful the Selectmen will grant unanimous support for the project and vote favorably on <br /> October 245 2017. Prior to the election, an informational session will be held at the Mashpee Library to <br /> further review the aspects of the project proposal, <br /> Review and approval of vul'o applications: <br /> lication fors ecial event tens orar sin permit Pet Fest Deborah ami; <br /> A Special Events Application and Temporary Sign Permit was submitted to the Board of Selectmen b <br /> Deborah Dani, Town Clerk for the 4th Annual Pet Test and babies Clinic scheduled to be held on <br /> Saturday, October 14, 2017 from :00 a.m. to 4;00 p.m. at the Mashpee Community Park. <br /> The temporary sign permit application proposed two 2'x3' signs at the front and rear entrances of the <br /> Mashpee Town Hall (Great Neck load forth and Route 13 0) for advertisement purposes. The signage <br /> would be installed and removed on the date of the event. Included in'the application was a Commercial <br /> Short Permit for a tent approved by the Building Department. The o' x 30" teat is proposed to be <br /> installed by the Barnstable County Sheriff s Department on October 13, 2017 and removed on October <br /> 17:5 2017, <br /> The events planned for the day includes demonstrations offered by the Mashpee Police Department, <br /> Mashpee Fire Department and Barnstable County Sheriffs Department, a blessing of the animals and a <br /> rabies clinic. The Town Clerk's office will be available to license dogs. It was disclosed that all <br /> necessary paperwork was in order for the Selectmen's approval. <br />
