Mr. Chace summarized the <br /> Mashpee Commons by Design planning process that began in October of 2017, with the goal to <br /> hear-from the community their wishes for the undeveloped portion of the areas adjacent to <br /> Mashpee Commons. Mr. Chace indicated that,they wished to implement the visions of the <br /> community while also making the project feasible. Regarding affordable housing and open <br /> space as highlighted by the planning Board, Mashpee Commons was not yet prepared to respond <br /> how best to address those needs, while also being considered as part of the newRegional Policy <br /> Plan being developed by the Cape Cod Commission. Mr. Chace emphasized that there were <br /> different stakeholders 'Involved in the project expressing varying priorities, which required <br /> consideration. It was nearer Mashpee Commons' intent to make anyone feel ash or to appear <br /> ear <br /> in the project and proposals. Mr. Chace proposed that the conversation continue <br /> to allow the appropriate amount of time to review and suggested that October'down Meeting <br /> may not be the appropriate a-mount of time to continue the dialogue and asked that Form Based <br /> Code be deferred until next year.
