The lengthy discussion included <br /> the following, which are listed by topic. <br /> Noise <br /> Glen inquired as to the noise issue. John Ciao said they characterized the noise with the current <br /> transformer and then measured it With the new transformer and they found neve transformer met all <br /> broadband requirements. Two areas—at Orchard and at rear of the property—both had pure tone <br /> before the change and they have rade it better. He said they meet DEP requirements. They are in <br /> the process of figuring out what to do if they get a complaint. <br /> Landscape <br /> Joseph Cummings s asked about residents that have clear view of the substation. John Cic o stated <br /> p g <br /> they are limited about vegetation and they had rendering done and It included some low-growing <br /> vegetation. 12 foot fence is what.they show on the rendering. <br /> David Velez explained they don't allow species that will grow higher than 3 feet; and the border zone <br /> they can have n o species that grow higher than 1feet. Nary Le B lalnc named 3 plants they might <br /> consider and.he said they were all-acceptable plants for their use. He pointed out on the rendering <br /> where they could do the pIanti ngs— ointing out areas where they have wire issues and turtle habitat <br /> issues. They will .add vegetation along property lines and along 12 foot fence~ They will submit a <br /> landscape plan.. w <br />
